Payments

Deposits

A deposit, paid via one of our accepted payment methods, is required to secure your Tour Only booking, which will be applied toward the cost of your package. Please check the package page, start a booking, or contact us to find out the required deposit. Changes or customizations you request to our packages may require an increased or additional deposit. Deposits are generally non-refundable after we confirm your booking, unless we cancel your departure.

Final Payment

If any balance is due after making your booking, you must pay this balance via one of our accepted payment methods by your final payment due date. This date varies by package. The due date for your booking will be listed in the booking process and in your booking receipt email. Failure to make the final payment by the due date may result in automatic cancellation of your booking without refund of deposit.

Refunds

Refund Process

Refunds will be processed and paid as promptly as possible. If we need to recover funds already paid to our partners for your services, your refund will be issued after those funds have been recovered.

  • Refund Timeline: 15-20 working days from cancellation confirmation.
  • Credit Card Payments: Refunds will be credited to the same card used for payment.
  • Bank Transfer Payments: Refunds will be issued by bank transfer to the original account.
  • UPI / Net Banking: Refunds credited to the same source account.
  • International Payments: Refund processing may take longer due to international banking procedures.
Refund Guarantee: We process all eligible refunds promptly. However, refunds for non-refundable components (flight tickets, special event tickets, permits) cannot be processed once paid to suppliers.

Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Domestic and international flight tickets (unless fully flexible fare).
  • Railway tickets (subject to IRCTC cancellation rules).
  • Special event tickets (festivals, shows, concerts, sporting events).
  • Permits for restricted areas (Inner Line Permits, Protected Area Permits).
  • Visa processing fees and documentation charges.
  • Travel insurance premiums.
  • Booking convenience fees and service charges.
  • Peak season surcharges already paid to hotels/suppliers.

Payment Failure & Technical Issues

In case of payment failure due to technical issues:

  • If amount is debited but booking not confirmed, the amount will be automatically refunded within 7-10 working days.
  • Contact our support team immediately at accounts@liveindiatours.com with transaction details.
  • We will verify with the payment gateway and initiate refund if applicable.
  • Do not attempt multiple payments; contact us first for assistance.

GST & Tax Invoices

All bookings with Live India Tours Pvt. Ltd. include applicable GST as per Indian tax regulations:

  • GST Rate: 5% on tour packages (under forward charge mechanism).
  • GST on Hotels: 12% on room tariffs (if booked separately).
  • GST on Transport: 5% on vehicle rentals.
  • GST Invoice: A tax invoice with GSTIN will be provided for every confirmed booking.
