Cancellations by You

If you elect to cancel your booking for any reason, you must notify us in writing. Cancellations are subject to fees which vary by your date of booking, your date of cancellation, and by package. Please select a package for details. Cancellation fees may change at any time, and your booking is subject to the schedule in effect on cancellation at the time of booking.

Cancellation Fees & Refund Calculation

When you cancel, we will refund all the amount paid, minus:

  • Your deposit or the applicable cancellation fee, whichever is greater
  • The cost of any issued flight tickets if non-refundable, or any cancellation fee assessed by the airline if refundable

When you request cancellation, we will advise you of the total of these fees and your total refund, if any.

Partial Cancellations (Group Bookings)

If you make a booking for two or more travellers, it is possible for one or more travellers on that booking to cancel while allowing the remaining traveller(s) to continue. Cancellation fees will only be assessed on the cancelling travellers. If such a change requires any double occupancy rooms or cabin to be converted to single occupancy, the remaining traveller(s) are responsible for any applicable single occupancy rates.

In some cases, it may be possible for a new traveller to be added to a booking replacing another traveller. If so, the cancellation/change fee will apply, as well as any applicable airline & other vendor fees, particularly for any issued flight tickets.

Important Note: Deposits are generally non-refundable after we confirm your booking, unless we cancel your departure. Please check your specific package details for exact cancellation terms.

Cancellations by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any departure due to events beyond our control, or any other reason. If we cancel a departure, we will notify you prior and offer alternate dates of travel or a refund.

Airline Policy Note: Due to airline policies, refund for any air tickets issued may be done as a credit with the carrier and may have an expiration date. We will assist you in utilizing such credits for future travel.

We also reserve the right to cancel a specific booking at our own discretion, and refund the amount paid to Live India Tours Pvt. Ltd.. In such cases, we will provide a full refund of all amounts paid to us.

Additional Cancellation Terms

Non-Refundable Components

The following items are non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing:

  • Domestic and international flight tickets (unless fully flexible fare is purchased)
  • Railway tickets (subject to IRCTC cancellation rules)
  • Special event tickets (festivals, shows, concerts, sporting events)
  • Permits for restricted areas (Inner Line Permits, Protected Area Permits)
  • Visa processing fees and documentation charges
  • Travel insurance premiums
  • Booking convenience fees and service charges

Peak Season & Special Packages

For bookings during peak seasons (Diwali, Christmas, New Year, Holi, summer vacations) and special packages, cancellation fees may be higher and vary by package. Please check the specific package terms before booking.

Force Majeure Cancellations

In the event of cancellation due to force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, political unrest, strikes, weather conditions, etc.), refunds will be subject to supplier policies. Live India Tours Pvt. Ltd. will assist in obtaining maximum possible refunds from suppliers but cannot guarantee full refunds in such circumstances.

How to Cancel: To initiate a cancellation, please email us at info@liveindiatours.com with your booking reference number and reason for cancellation. Our team will confirm the cancellation charges and refund amount within 2-3 working days.

Refund Process After Cancellation

Once your cancellation is confirmed and cancellation fees are calculated:

  • Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 15-20 working days from cancellation confirmation.
  • Credit Card Payments: Refunds will be credited to the same card used for payment.
  • Bank Transfer Payments: Refunds will be issued by bank transfer to the original account.
  • UPI / Net Banking: Refunds credited to the same source account.
  • International Payments: Refund processing may take longer due to international banking procedures and currency conversion.
Refund Timeline: Total refund time including bank processing can take up to 30 days. We appreciate your patience during this period.
